THINGS I TRIPPED OVER ON THE INTERNET TODAY, JULY 25
Thing #1 - Mr. Dharam Singh’s long con
Mr. Dharam Singh says he’s 119 years old and his shifty doctor says he could run a marathon he’s so healthy. That being said, whether you believe it or not, this profile is great and everyone should watch it.
Thing #2 - Titus Burgess released an amazing dance track for Pride
Titus “Best Thing on Kimmy Schmidt” Burgess is an Emmy Award-nominated actor that just released a song called “Dance M.F.” that he wrote when faced with the uncertainties of the pandemic. What a gift.
Thing #3 - Glacier Mice are real and they’re not pokemon
NPR just shared the story of a phenomenon spotted on a glacier in Alaska that features fuzzy balls of moss. Affectionately called “glacier mice” or “jokla-mys” in Icelandic, the little balls are comprised of a dense center with a fluffy green, photosynthetic exterior. And they move! They’ve been spotted traveling distances on their own, in sometimes erratic patterns. Read more about them HERE.
Thing #4 - Sail bikes and land yachts
Doesn’t this look so cool? I’d love to try this on Daytona Beach.
Thing #5 - Dumpster Pool party anyone?
This has on my laundry list of to-do items for about 4 years. I’m so convinced it would be a hit that I would even venture to buy one of these dumpsters just to have on-hand. I just don’t understand where all the money comes from and I’l have to find a water truck company!
