THINGS I TRIPPED OVER ON THE INTERNET TODAY, FEBRUARY 13
Thing #1 : People who fall in love with things … but like, really in “love”
I hesitate to label people as “crazy” but I only needed to watch the first seconds of this video before I shouted, “That bitch is crazy.” Also, why does she have to assign a gender to the bridge?
Thing #2: Netflix is making a “Redwall” movie and series
Netflix better not break my heart on this one. Brian Jacques’ amazing series set in medieval times with talking animals was a major part of my childhood and played a large role in my love of reading growing up. Monk mice and otter sailors and rabbit knights are the stuff my dreams are made of now. It appears they’ve tapped Patrick McHale, who penned Over the Garden Wall to do the script so I’m already hopeful they can’t possibly mess it up.
Thing #3: Brooklyn’s most imaginative night club is the party I’ve always wanted to go to
A bar that’s all about hidden experiences and exploration and “partying with a purpose” instead of just slamming back drinks and hoping your friends get more interesting as you get more drunk. I’m here for it and I hope it survives the pandemic.
Thing #5: Wombats shit cubes - there’s a glitch in the Matrix
Wombats stack up their cube-shaped shits like a little Lego warning sign to people to let them know they’re in wombat territory and to tread lightly. They actually shit bricks. Read more about it HERE on Gizmodo.
