THINGS I TRIPPED OVER ON THE INTERNET TODAY, NOV. 29
Thing #1 - An upcycled My Little Pony necklace
I spotted this necklace by Reka Lorincz (Website) on Pinterest and totally fell in love.
I’m really into reclaimed found objects that, when coupled with another material or presented in a new way, get an entirely new context. And that’s what art is all about.
Thing #2 - You can get viking funerals in Missouri now, maybe
A bill called the “Jedi Disposal Act” is making its way to the Missouri state that could allow licensed funeral directors to carry out outdoor cremations at private sites. With permits. Yes, it’s inspired by Jedi Knight cremation ceremonies in the movies.
The only place in the country where you can currently do it is in Crestone, Colorado, a little island 160 miles from Denver, but it’s only for people who live or own land in that specific county .
So, get ready for a bonfire. That’s how I wanna go out.
Thing #3 - New video from Big Freedia for “Louder”
Thing #4 - Brad Leone stuck his noodle in a hole
I'm in love with Brad Leone from Bon Appetit. It's a thing. I can't stop.
I'm thankful for his YouTube rabbit hole that I've fallen into and can't get out of.
Someone give me this job. I'm all in.
