Hitting 250 episodes of "Bungalower and The Bus"

When Jon Busdeker asked me if I wanted to co-host a radio show with him on Real Radio 104.1 FM in 2017, I said yes before even asking what the hell Real Radio even was. Jon had just been let go from WESH where he’d been working as a local beat reporter and was friends with the program director at the station.

We jumped into it without really knowing what we were doing and whether anyone would even listen. Our friends at A Mediocre Time with Tom and Dan (Website) loaned us their equipment until we could purchase our own and the station edited it for us and now, almost five years later, we’re still on the airwaves.

Our ratings are strong and we’ve moved up an hour to 8 p.m. on Fridays when we share our takes on the Orlando area’s top headlines. And it’s been a complete gas.

I’m so thankful to everyone who’s hosted the show, fed us, advertised with us, listened to us, and hyped us up on this journey. I can’t wait to see where it goes in the next four years!
