How do you Halloween?

I was born on October 31st (I’m not gonna say what year) so I feel like I was predisposed to like dressing up.

I’ve always leaned into the season and tried to come up with a variety of costumes leading up to my birthday each year in a sort of weeklong celebration of me getting the chance to grow older. I’ve had some brushes with mortality through the years so it shouldn’t be surprising that each year I spend a little bit more on my costumes - though that’s something that should be reconsidered in case I live to 100 … which definitely won’t happen with how much cheese and pasta I eat.

This year I tweaked a costume from a previous year and dusted off my old space cowgirl getup and headed to the Thornton Park Halloween Street Party. Click HERE to see my Insta video of the event.
