Fred Penner is hosting a Live concert, because he's a treasure
Frederick Ralph Cornelius Penner is a Canadian musician who used to host one of my favorite shows when I was growing up, Fred Penner’s Place.
The show ran from 1989 to 1992 and featured Penner climbing through a secret hollowed out log with his fancy wood-framed backpack and ending up in a secret fort-like area where he’d sing songs and just be super chill in the middle of the forest with birds that brought him words and stuff. Classic.
Anyway, Penner is going to be hosting a free concert on his Facebook and Instagram feeds on March 29 at 2 p.m.
He’s a true Canadian treasure.
