Being reminded that my father is a professional cool dude
I was chatting with my 81-year-old father on the phone today when he brought up the website for the archaeological firm he’s been working for for the past few decades, Woodland Heritage.
So, me being naturally curious, I decided to pop on and nose around a bit and see if he worked with anyone cute or something. And low and behold, I stumbled over his bio section on the website and it really drove home how cool he is and how lucky I am to have had him as my father.
In the photo with him you’ll see two dogs; Neegee, the spaniel, and Guaranteed, the huskey. Guaranteed was the mother of a whole litter of beautiful Siberian huskeys that he raised as a sled team when I was a kid and Neegee was their sort of surrogate mother/nanny when Guaranteed past not long after they were born.
So anyway, lots of feels from that photo.
