White Canvas Party submission

The Mennello Museum of America Art is hosting its second annual White Canvas Party on November 7 and they’ve asked me to be one of the 30 participating artists to transform a 12x12-inch canvas into whatever I wanted.

The exhibition will open the art to bids for a 50/50 split with the museum in a fun fundraiser that opens to the public at 7 p.m. that day.

I made mine with a trick I’ve been experimenting with using layers of vellum and paint and I couldn’t be happier with it.
