More street furniture for everyone, at least Ivanhoe Village
We recently launched another street furniture project as a follow-up to the milk crate furniture we released into the wilds of The Milk District earlier in the month.
Two rollable high-top tables are making their way through Ivanhoe Village this month, slowly making their way to Mills 50, to help local businesses encourage social distancing and sitting outdoors while spending their local dollars.
The project was fully-sponsored by Interstruct Inc, an amazing local design and build firm, and built by our friends at Vudoo Wood. I couldn’t be happier with how they turned out either.
Narcity just did an interesting write-up HERE that I thought would be more about tactical urbanism but turned more into a bit of scandal from FDOT who basically told us we couldn’t have them on Orange Avenue or people would be arrested. Drama.
