Subbing in on The Jim Colbert Show

Jim Colbert was out for vacation this week and the station invited in some local “celebs” to sub in for him all that week - and they invited me to tap in for the Thursday show. I regularly host a 4 p.m. segment each Thursday where I chat about things to do in Orlando that weekend so I think they were hoping their audience was already used to hearing me that day and they’d be down for a whole day of me.

And it seemed to go great!

I was on from 3-7 p.m. before popping off to Sanford to record my own show, “Bungalower and The Bus,” at the Central Florida Zoo for the Asian Lantern Festival. Deb Roberts was an amazing host all day and really led the whole endeavor, and I got to sit there and be pretty and put in my two cents from time to time. Great day with great people and I was so flattered to be on.
