Hosting New Year's Eve fireworks for OMA
The folks at Orlando Museum of Art invited me to host their annual New Year’s Eve fireworks in Loch Haven Park this year and I couldn’t say no! In part because the pay was pretty great, but also because I wanted to feel really pretty at an art museum.
The best part of the gig was that I could just roll in at 11 p.m. to schmooze a bit and say hi before heading outside to host the countdown, so Scottie and I had some time to run around town and enjoy the evening together before getting to work.
We went to the Thornton Park NYE Street Party to have some drinks at Burton’s but people were already throwing up in the planters and crying about their dates so we happily high tailed it to the museum to enjoy some air conditioning and free champagne.
