BANANA DUMPSTER, REALNESS

The Mills 50 Main Street District put out a call for artists back in 2015 to decorate 15 garbage dumpsters and I was lucky enough to be chosen to participate.

I painted this relatively simple design in the middle of a Florida summer. I knew it would be tough so I kept it easy and fun and I was out of there in an afternoon.

Since then it’s been in music videos, countless hipster selfie moments, and I get to look at it every day.
