The bearded fans I never knew I needed

My friend Lisa Bates is a little force of creative nature. She pedals her fancy, bedazzled bicycle all over the neighborhoods causing a ruckus and spreading joy and always wants me to know that not only does she support me and my projects, but that she has my back and that I’m loved. Isn’t that great? Everyone needs a Lisa Bates.

Today, Lisa came to bingo with a purse full of thick black beards and handed them out to people in attendance trying to start a new grassroots Brenda from Bithlo fan tradition. And I have to say, I really hope it sticks. She had like 7 people taking selfies in the things and I loved every minute.

I may have to make a stencil and spell “Brenda” in glitter on some of them to sell at bingo night for some extra scratch!
