My friends made a beer for me and I can't wait to try it

So one day, I was day drinking and causing a rukus, and it occurred to me that I had never heard of anyone making a beer inspired by Star Trek - namely, I’d never heard of a take on Klingon Blood Wine. So I rang up a couple of my brewery pals in town and on the second call I got a big old “YES,” from my buddies at the newly-opened Ravenous Pig Brewing.

They took the very loose concept, finessed it, added some Lingonberries and cranberry juice, and “Klingonberry Blood Ale” was born. To celebrate the tapping, I rang up my pals at Enzian Theater who helped me to secure the film rights to play one of my favorite Star Trek films, “Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan” and Ravenous Pig agreed to serve up a pig roast worthy of a Klingon feast.

My new friends at Motion Flix agreed to stream the movie for us and the rest is history!

Our dinner and a movie event was scheduled for Tuesday, October 27, and I feel like I’m giving myself a little early birthday present.
